1. What Tevola does

Tevola checks job adverts for signs of scams, fake postings, and data harvesting. You can submit a link, paste the advert text, or upload a screenshot, and we return a trust score with the reasons behind it. Signed-in users can save their checks, compare their CV with an advert, and answer feedback questions about what happened after they applied.

2. Automated guidance, not advice

Trust scores, flags, CV match feedback, and company ratings are automated guidance only. They are not legal, career, or professional advice, and they are not proof that a company is or is not legitimate. Always verify an employer directly before sharing personal documents, ID numbers, or banking details. You use Tevola at your own discretion and risk.

3. Your information is never sent to companies or agencies

Nothing you submit to Tevola — job links, pasted adverts, screenshots, CVs, or feedback answers — is shared with, sold to, or sent to any employer, recruitment agency, or advertiser. Companies never see who checked their adverts, who applied, or what any individual answered. They only ever see aggregated, anonymous ratings once enough responses exist, and individual answers are never identifiable.

4. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials confidential and for the activity on your account. You must provide accurate information when confirming the company behind an advert and when answering feedback questions. We may suspend or remove accounts that submit false, abusive, or misleading content.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• submit content you have no right to share;
• upload malicious files or attempt to disrupt the service;
• scrape, bulk-extract, or republish Tevola's data or ratings;
• submit dishonest feedback intended to unfairly harm or inflate a company's rating.

6. Content you upload

You keep ownership of everything you upload, including your CVs. By uploading, you give Tevola permission to store and process that content solely to provide the service to you — for example, extracting text from a screenshot or comparing your CV against a job advert. We do not use your content for any other purpose.

7. Availability and liability

We aim to keep Tevola available and accurate but do not guarantee uninterrupted service or error-free results. To the extent permitted by law, Tevola is not liable for any loss arising from decisions made based on our scores, ratings, or feedback — including employment decisions or interactions with employers.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date above shows the current version, and continued use of Tevola after changes means you accept the updated terms.
